Tomislav + MVM = Kick?

nobody ever believes me when i say this

"Its called firing speed upgrade for a reason"

"sure its a bit waste of money to get firing speed upgrades
but if you upgrade it twice, it can fire like the stock minigun"

"whats worse? the natascha or the tomislav?" (their answer is tomislav cuz they saw me holding it)

when i say these i get kicked and get called the worst mvm player ever

though i only completed a mission cuz ppl were nice to let me use the tomislav (though this is the first time it happened)

why cant ppl trust and try other than complain and kick :/

idk, i think the tomislav might be worse because it doesn't have the natural damage resistance of the natascha, and slowing down big scouts is always helpful if you have a natascha equipped.

its not like its gonna take other ppl's money to get what you need
besides, after a wave, you get a crap ton of money and tada! so much upgrading to keep you alive (and other teammates if you have the sandvich with you [though i recommend you not to upgrade the sandvich])

oh and after your done feeding ur teammates the sandvich, you can quickly get back into battle with tomislav's faster spin up time

Tomislav's faster spinup, tighter spread and silent spinup are almost useless in MvM. Most of the time, you are spun up anyway, tighter spread does nothing if you are using your crushing close range DPS properly and robots will still find you anyway with silent spinup. That said, it isn't useless, it's just inferior to other options, including Natascha.

i mean if you really really know what you are doing then by all means go for it
but try telling that to the others

acting as a neutral party

you are in a confined area
you dont need the extra accuracy
and
the rev up speed as you will almost always be firing it/having it reved up
the only way i see it would be needed is if its a long area like the tour/mission with the giant boxer heavy at the last wave.

its a sidegrade on mvm still

Just use mini gun or brass beast, mvm is't gonna be balanced for every weapon. you save your self and others lot of trouble, as much it sucks unless valve does something about it nothing will change.

Or you'd be firing much faster with the stock minigun with those 2 firing speed upgrades. Or you could use that $700 on resists, health on kill, projectile destruction...

Tomislav, easily. Tomislav is strictly worse than Minigun, whereas Natascha has a slowdown effect (useful for giant scouts but basically useless otherwise) and 20% damage reduction while it's spun up. So there's actually a reason why someone might want to use Natascha, unlike Tomislav.

The true upside to the Tommy is its silent spinning. Bots can't tell the difference, unlike human ears, so the major upside is useless.

Tommy is still good, but not for MvM. End of story.

I was holding an Australium Tomislav, nobody kicked me than.

The worst Minigun in MvM is hands down, the Huo Long Heater.

Since the Update: Tomislav now does more damage at Longer range, allowing the Heavy to dish out high damage at Medium and Close range. With two Firing Speed upgrades, it fires as fast as the Minigun, dealing more damage faster due to the accuracy boost. Hands down, one of the best.

that aint the point, ppl mostly complain about it's firing speed and nothing else
