TF2: Kicked for idle for taunting??!!
I was on a vavle pl server on barnblitz with my recenly purchased Rancho Relaxo. I was challenging myself to see how long I could sit in a certain spot without being noticed with the taunt activated.
Eventually I was votekicked from the server for idling. Is this fair? I guess in a way I was idling but why add these taunts to the game if you're not allowed to do this kind of thing. some people on the server were on my side but other people were just being killjoys.
Whats your opinion?

If you were voted off, clearly people didn't want to play with you.

In a game like first person shooters or third person shooters the team needs their team mates all operating at optimal and efficent levels to succeed.

That's a lie, and you're silly.

You were kicked because people don't want to waste a player slot on someone who is just taunting and doing nothing.

I'm sorry this is pretty funny. I was an engineer square dancing the whole time after I set my stuff up. So long as your sentries do their job what does it matter?

I'm personally curious to see if an Engineer can get backstabbed while doing the taunt, and how would it look like when he's doing said taunt.

But anyways, just build a Sentry nest and then relax. Done.

just like the other taunts you can, but your hitbox is the same as if you were standing I believe.

It's a pub server. Play to win in Highlander (or other form of competative TF2)... not a random pub. Hell... even in competative there is room to ♥♥♥♥ around and have fun. It's a video game. I would almost say the exact same thing for sports in real life.
