Can we have Splitscreen Multiplayer?

With Portal 2 Splitscreen Co-Op working great, can it be done on TF2? Especially with the Steam Link/Steam Machines coming out (and TF2 adveristing for said devices) as well as the light system requirements this would be a great couch splitscreen multiplayer game, (esp. with Steam controllers)

I do have TF2...I've played it for 100+ hours And it was recommended I ask this on TF2 forums rather than Suggestion/Ideas forum

I do have TF2...I've played it for 100+ hours And it was recommended I ask this on TF2 forums rather than Suggestion/Ideas forum

no split screen tf2 pls, they never did it with the xbox version for a reason :P
