Is scrap.tf cheating?

I have been informed by numerous souces about a site called scrap.tf where you can trade scrap for two weapons each. Are these weapons hacked in or is there a way this bot has legitimately gotten them? I know it sounds like a dumb question. I just need some clarification.

Scrap.tf is legit. They have been operating for years, and back when Valve implemented their poorly concieved captchas during trading they even whitelisted scrap.tf so that their bots didn't have to solve them.

Also I believe the owner (Geel) knows some people at Valve.

dude scrap.tf is a automatic bot trading service, with that much trouble it hink its safe to say that YES they do take a lot of profit from trades.

It's a website based off of the concept of scrap crafting. You craft two weapons to get one scrap.

No using scrap.tf isn't considered cheating, ive used it tons of times and i haven't gotten banned yet. Also i've never been hacked by the site, or have gotten viruses so yea.

They get the weapons by idling and through trading, so it's perfectly legit.
