I am really starting to hate Spy. TF2 Balanced? My ass.

There is seriously no fun in TF2 anymore. Almost every Spy i come across has dead ringer, spycicle and then usually l'etranger or enforcer. How the heck are these weapons fair? How on earth can these weapons be ''balanced''?

Does nobody see that they're overpowered as fking hell?

Spy is supposed to be a sneaky infiltration class. Try to win the trust of the other team while you backstab everyone in secret. A really fun concept, and a really good class to put into the game.

The weapons for Spy nowadays, however, completely throw that out of the window. There is no balance, there is no fair play, spies are literally becoming immortal.

Let's start out with the dead ringer. First of all it allows you to survive backstabs, crit stickies, basicly when you take a ton of damage (I heard backstab are like 6000 dmg?) you go cloaked and survive. This is already very ridiculous to start with, then there is the damage reduction that is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane. The spy almost takes NO DAMAGE AT ALL, when his cover is blown he simply puts out his dead ringer and walks back to his own base. Even with 3 players shooting at him and chasing him, it takes fking forever before he finally dies. It can very very easily be recharged superfast. Know ammo spaws and you're golden. Or just shoot around with the l'etranger and enjoy infinite cloak spam. Confusing the hell out of the other team when they kill the same spy again and again and again. He can extinguish himself with it, this is also just plain stupid. I'm not lying when i tell you that i hate this thing with my life, this watch was the biggest mistake ever released into the game.

Then the spycicle. Oh boy, silent backstabs? Give the Spy a knife that can 1. Completely take out the spy's natural counter which is pyro 2. Kill enemies in silence and 3. Recharges itself really fast. 15 seconds is NOTHING. Just chill out in a corner where nobody comes and you're ready to go again. The Spy, when set on fire by a pyro, doesn't deserve the survival. He got caught, and the whole point of Spy is not getting caught. The spy suddenly extinguishes himself, goes invisbile along with the dea ringer, and can just walk off without flickering, without being seen even when he bumps into enemies (also another ridiculous feature of the dead ringer). Leaving most pyro's confused, having to guess where they go. Seriously, get good with these weapons and you can get yourself out of ANYTHING.

Do we really have to rely on snipers and scouts for spychecking, assuming they use milk or jarate? Does nobody see that these weapons are absolutely inbalanced? Spy is becoming an offensive class, they could instead just give him inifnite HP because that's what these weapons basically give him.

Almost any Spy i meet nowadays uses this. And it kills the fun for everyone, especially new players.

This Game has the RPG elements of that of COD, and the Animation of that of claymation.
Honestly, as long as there is a pyro on the team, the spy is pretty much balanced out. True, it does such for semi stationary players like snipers, but a pyro can quickly deal with them..
You just have low skills and awareness.
It is so unbelievably easy to deal with Spies in Tf2. You just need to learn to deal with them more effectively OP.
bro that loadout cant beat noob pyros since they spam like hell and really u can notice when they have dead ringer cuz for me when i hit them i hear no hit sound and they make a load ass sound when uncloaking and the time is really really short
Fix facestabs (melee hit detection) and the Spy is balanced. That is all.

I beg to differ. I use the one knife that lets you disguise as an enemy on backstab, the cloak and dagger, and the razorback.
How do you use the Your Eternal Reward, the cloak and dagger, and the razorback at the same time? The razorback is for sniper. You mean DiamondBack, right?

Gabens favorite class is the spy, he focused on balancing it more than anything else
OP obviously has a poor sense of how the game works. Sure, that combo makes the spy relatively untouchable, but it detriments them more than anything. The spycicles downtime for even being licked with flames means your primary form of attack is gone for 15 seconds. 15 seconds is longer than it would take you to respawn and be back in the action again. The deadringer also makes you easier to spot: you can't cloak while sneaking behind the enemy, and that load-ass decloak noise will have any player worth his salt on your ass in two seconds.

In the case of the DR/Spycicle combo, it's not about killing them because the way they play makes them entirely ineffectual against a half-competent team.
This is just pure comedy, GOLDEN just to see a basic rant on how Spy is "OP". Typical non-experienced Spy player most people rant on and on about Spy and his sets are OP. Dr.Enforcicle set? one of the sets I see people dump nothin but hate on since its a good set made for a survival based Spy. The Enforcer has NO random crits 20% slower firing speed and note you get a +25% extra dmg while undesguised which means the enemy can SPOT you more easily making you an easy target. Also the enforcer helps a spy be a bit more offensive towards his enemies forcing the enemy player take a different approch towards the enforcer spy, or the weapon helps the spy make more of a stand making his enemies back up a bit. Spycicle really I have heard people complain about this all the time. Spycicle is a great knife made for spy to survive better against pyros. Still it adds spy being immune to fire for 2 seconds *whoopie* still in those 2 seconds the spy could kill the pyro with a gun. Still the pyro can still airblast or hear a sound of a spy yelling "FIRE!" making him a bit more obvious to the enemy team which can make this immunity useless. Also you lose the Spys KNIFE the weapon spy uses mostly to do most of his dirty work for 12 seconds in those 12 seconds you just get to be useless while relying on your gun to kill off an enemy in which is isnt really that powerful(note I missed 2 medic picks/kills using this).
Also the Dead Ringer? really? the Spy watch that has a weakness still most players never to consider. Still I get most spys just use it to absorb dmg or just run away to a safe place.Mostly spy has a harder time to get through enemy lines with this weapon that he usually does with his invis watches since he has to rely on enemies to hurt him to activate it. This is meant for spy to feign his death so that he can fool the enemy players into thinking hes dead in which this invis watch is pretty effective in throwing off your enemies if you use it right, or if people didnt spam it/use it so often.
Mostly when I play Spy I easily get angered on how underpowered he is with his cloak just his cloak. Pyros feel free to spray me with flames I dont care since that is somthing to keep me balenced and aware that I am not invincible while cloaked. Still he has to be revealed through lazy excuses of what he can be shown for. Like Jarate,Madmilk,Bleeding,Fall dmg (not sure if that is still there),Bumping into enemies. Still I would be fine with the pyros lighting me ,and bumping into enemies *still bullet dmg can show your location too*. Jarate,Madmilk,and bleeding are just another easy get out of jail free card to detect a Spy in which players should use their wits on WHERE the spy is and try to determine that for themselves, also bumping is a pain too still it helps the enemy know where you are bumping into them glowing like RED or BLU lightbulb as you bump into an enemy. I feel like 1 has to go to make spy interesting again like removing hurting a spy shows location or just simple bumps revealing location should go. *Little rant that might not happen*
Still the other 3 things above ^^^
Are things people should have to accept as a part of Spy,and not just lay a big load of S H I T on his face when he uses them. If you want to rant about somthing people will agree try Sticy Spam with Demo im afraid more people have to agree there.
