Can renaming weapons get you banned?

I'm not looking to rename any of my weapons as racial slurs or anything of the sort. The question popped into my mind when i wanted to rename my Escape Plan "NIGERUNDAYO", a JoJo reference meaning to hotfoot it out of there. I thought to myself: " You know, the first part looks like I'm wading in racist waters." I know that community server moderators can ban you from their own discretion, but can you get VAC banned for it? (Yes, I know that VAC bans are only for cheating, but I don't know if any other type exists).

You're fine, OP. You can't get VAC banned for a weapon rename. I've literally seen renames such as, "Adolf Kritler", "N*gger Killer", "F*ggot Slayer", "♥♥♥♥♥ Destroyer 3000", etc. Nevermind all the disgusting objectors I've seen. If yours is just some silly Jojo reference, you probably wouldn't even be banned from community servers.

I've seen countless number of questionably named weapons. You should be fine.

the worst you could possibly get is an admin banning you from a community server, and even then it's unlikely

Some say that the item may get deleted if its something THAT bad. Happened to several objectors afaik.

Ik someone already answered your question, but you can't get banned for offensive or racist names. If you rename your lugermorph to "Adolf Hitler's Escape Plan", you can't get banned

yup, I have a vinatge pro ks lugermorph with an orange sheen with hypno beam ks effect on my first steam account from 2014 and just renamed it to that. I have 3 name tags. HMU if u want one
