casual is too hard

I played a lot of tf2 when I was a kid, now I'm trying to get back to playing for a long time, but every time I try to join a casual game 90% of the players are MUCH higher rank than mine and they kill me in a few seconds after I leave spawn, I don't find any servers specifically for beginners, any help on this???

Skill based matchmaking probably. Just play community servers or smth

Uncletopia isn’t any better, try skial

Casual is not that bad. Theres only a few bots when I join a server.

casual ranks mean nothing, apart from showing how much time youve spent playing

When in doubt, go Medic. You will never not be useful (unless you battle medic).

I've always played with training bots, and every time I try to join a casual game there's always one or two annoying snipers or a spy with the kunai, over time playing with bots gets boring, but I don't think it's possible to even leave the game spawn

Try playing with your team instead of going solo, try communication, try with friends.

This game is very old and most of it's playerbase playing since the game came out.
You need to adapt yourself to the gameplay and watch some tutorials on youtube.
Play some matches against Moderate VALVe training bots offline.

And then play again.
