Team Fortress 2
Why I love tf2, even though I'm terrible at it.
Sometimes, you just gotta swallow your pride and admit to yourself that you are bad at something. I did. And that is what made me appreciate the game. You don't have to be good at the game to enjoy it. Look at my stats. Im a really bad player. (Dispite the low number of hours). Being bad at the game made me appreciate the little things, a lot. Like if I headshot a guy, from across the map on Badwater, or Cabering a soldier in mid-air out of pure luck, I really enjoy that. Or getting into a 1V1 with another pyro, but ends up in a truse because our skill level was the same. (Actually happened, became good friends.) And let's not mention that one heavy you pocketed and ended up your goto buddy to go try hard with. I've made very good friends playing this game. And yes there are times when I rage at the game. Usually I leave quietly and go join a trade of friendly server to calm myself. All in all, I love tf2 so much and not all of the scout mains and bot heavies in the world could change that. I hope that this helps to all the players out there that feel ragy or bored. Enjoy the little things that the game has to offer. Tf2 doesn't have to be so serious all the time. Thas why tf2 has things that other fps only remotely try to immitate. Enjoy.

Or be someone like me at nearly 4,000 hours, and still bad at the game.

1000 hours, still bad at it.

But like you, I still have so much fun while doing it. It's a game I can take either seriously or not and I still end up terrible at the game.

The thing about tf2 is you can make your experience however you want. Especially with community made custom maps, the possibilities for wackyness and fun are endless

I love chaos.
In a fun twist.

Like, even in real life I laugh if something funnily chaotic happens, well ofcourse if it's a disaster;
No bueno

Simple.

The game is fun and gameplay is something anybody can enjoy. Also, the game is has countless of Gmod and SFM videos based off of it, and still to do this day. I don't see any other game taking over that position of being the Gmod/SFM king for who knows how long.

Sfm is valves way of letting the community do the advertising for its games, which is really cool, because it shows what actually can happen in game, not some glorified E3 trailer.

Ah yes, CGI trailers, so long the days when gameplay was how you get people to play your game. Nope, just make an overly pretty CGI trailer with no regards to the gameplay.

Yeah, it's kinda sad to see that fully happen.

I'm more or less good at TF2.

A thread that's actually positive.

But I agree wholly, since...I've only hit 130-ish hours and suck ass while still having a ton of fun.

Glad to make it a positive experience.

some people miss the point of "discussions" in "tf2 discussions"
