I miss the times when one pan was dropped in a month or several.
even if I didn't even know about this game back then

valve knows how High the demand is for it... they also know people who arent brain damaged arent going to spend hundreds of bucks on a few lines of code... so they increased the drop rate in hopes to create a larger supply, to cause the market place price to drop... but trying to keep it scarce enough people will still sell it..

Valve makes next to nothign from the Mann Co store (mostly becasue the prices are ludicrious, which they did to discourage people from buying them.. as they do not want to have to pay the community content creators who made them, as per the origonal agreement valve had with community content creators)..... they make most of the money of the market place... there just trying to expand the avialablity of the higher value higher demand items.. in hopes it will cause the price to drop to a point where they still make a nice chunk of money from sales, but its low enough where people will actually buy them.

thats all its really about... Preying upon those people who try to make "profit" from spending money in a game...

hate to break it to you... There is no such thing as profit, and wont ever be, until valve allows you to cash in your wallet for real money... Which wont ever happen... It amazes me how little valve tries to hide the fact that they assume the player base is full of idiots, and play them quite well and people are to blindly ignorant to see that :(

Yes but that's the normal frying pan not the golden frying pan so don't try to think the golden pan uses the same drop list as the normal one.
