Import spray not working?

title says it all, i got my vtf file throw it into
Materials>vgi>logos

i then go into tf2, and nothing happenes

Try putting it in team fortress folder. Works for me.

There is the problem then, the max resolution available is 512x512, so check to make your image smaller, then try again

I heard there was a way to surprass 512x512, but I haven't found a reason to as of late... I make sprays from time to time and haven't found a reason to at least... A tiny bit blurred up close, for the most part they always look fine ingame...

I Heard it too, there is a guide that says that you can adapt a 1024x1024 image into a 512x512, having an image with more quality HD life than an authentic 512, the deal is just a better quality spray from what I read and remember, not having a bigger spray to occupy more space in a wall.
I still haven't tried yet.
