Team Fortress 2
Natascha is viable.
Most people call it bad or a downgrade to stock, although I don’t think it really is. no I’m not biased about Natascha because I own a professional kill streak version of it. Where did you get that idea?

With the damage resistance, the Natascha is a very tanky minigun. It's decent for pushing through enemies and capping objectives. Also superb for stopping scouts, pyros and jumpers from suicide picking snipers and medics. Against heavies, you are actually not at a disadvantage thanks to the damage resistance. Against stock, the one who clicked mouse 1 first will win.

The downside is that you become a less desirable target for ubers, and it becomes harder to take down buildings.

Overall, I see Natascha as a viable alternative to stock. Stock is more versatile, but Natascha is good for defense and support, and can be used offensively to some degree.

It good for dealing with scout who jump around u for 10 seconds and kill you. Its also good for slowing baby down so they can make sanvich for u.

it's great for shutting down arrogant scout mains and area suppression, but it's not much good for pushes or fighting enemy heavy/medic combos.

i enjoy using it to mix things up

if your opponent has any kind of cover to hide behind tho, forget it

I think it's fun to slow down things a bit for the Adderall addicts. Yeah, the increased time to kill can screw you over when you're on your own, but it's my favorite to use when everyone's doing their job right. Makes both you and your victims have to take time in engagements, and if you're playing the slowest class in the game with an increased spin-up time weapon, then you're probably used to taking your time anyways, so the negative attributes are negated for those who are patient. :lunar2019coolpig:

the worst minigun is still a minigun. it has hundreds of dps. So yes, natasha works.

Natasha is fine to counter scouts and demoknights because speed is their main source, take their movement and theyre dead

the worse? I think the heater is way more bad compared to other miniguns.

I thought the issue with Nastasha is that it's annoying to fight against? Not that it's weak
It doesn't just shut down Scouts in general, it also counters a rocket jumping Soldier, sticky jumping Demoman, Demoknight and even a jetpack Pyro.

as well as anyone holding a movement key or wanting to enjoy the game
If you prioritize being an annoying troll over useful weapons then sure the Natascha is great for you.

It's a crutch for Heavies that can't focus enemies so they need to glue them in place to secure a kill.

It is a pretty good sidekick against scouts and overall, viable minigun. However I think the damage penalty shouldn't be a thing. Longer spin-up is already a big downside.

Think about it like this. You have scenario Heavy with Natasha versus Scout. If the Heavy is unprepared, he'll get easily killed by Scout's scattergun. If the Heavy is spun-up, Scout has a very little chance of surviving.

I mean, I only it use it for defense. On offense I run the stock or the Tomislav.

Doesn't justify the glaring issue. It brings any player nicked by a bullet to a snail's pace, making it harder for them to move around much less escape. Against any classes that isn't as reliant on mobility however, such as an Engineer's Sentry or another Heavy, you're going to get outgunned quicker even with the damage resistance you get when spun up.

Overall you're trading potential damage for easier kills and being a bit tankier when half dead, which is already easy as is when Heavy has a 540DPS bullet hose by default so overall you're just losing damage while having no more than effectively 330HP (150HP till at 50% max health, then another 180 effective HP from the damage resistance).

It kills people by sucking all particles of enjoyment and fun out of their body until they crumble to the ground as a dry corpse.
