It's a smart business decision to futureproof your product.
Number one rule of being a consumer :Always advocate for more than what you're given
So I shouldn't advocate for more than what you were given because what you were given hasn't been patched for five months and is blatantly broken? I'm simply asking for a bit of UI scaling along with the option to render my game at my native resolution, something I could force myself if it weren't for the DRM they use.
I mean if they're not going to fix the networking, at least take the hour to patch in 21:9/4K resolutions, something that will become a huge issue further down the line as the native resolution/aspect ratio standards change. People are starting to pay attention to the technical details of these ports, and I'm really glad because this kind of nonsense won't fly for much longer (which hopefully means a better Toukiden 2/God Eater 3)
If you have a valid concern; by your opinion, then you can contact bandai yourself and hope they do something about it. Riling up the steam community doesn't make change, check the denuvo thread and how many 'valid customers' have complained about that, still nada. even more so the countless 'please fix waiting for other players' posts.
Denuvo does nothing of the sort. It's the least intrusive form of DRM I've come across. I tried this game when it launched but didn't want to bother fixing their broken controller support so moved onto other games. There was no problem getting a DLL loaded through any injection means. Unless you're trying to remove DRM from the game, you'll never know Denuvo is there.
So many A-holes in the comment's it's sad.
You should get the best out of your games.
And yes, I also do have a Ultrawide monitor and it's amazing!
If you care to explain what you did, I would be more than happy.
You need a Hex Editor to get the "full" on support.
OMG, MAN!! Thanks a lot! Last time I checked, wasn't a fix been found yet. Also, Kaldaien, the guy that created FAR and fixed some other games, said that this game was in such a state of a mess that made him give up on fixing it and on top of it all was Denuvo and stuff. I lost my hope then... But to see this now, I am glad!
Although it is not the best course of action, because I, think that the game developer should add this and not be up to the community to fix it by themselves, at least we have this.
I have even posted in the WSGF foruns asking "Where to start to look for Hex in the executable" in order to make this work with 21:9.
Since you posted that, I will take a quick look at Star Ocean page, because it had the same issue.
EDIT:
Works well, it seems!

Man, I played it so much with my friend in my old PSP, loved it so much back then.
Have played 30hs before giving it up because of the pilarbox in this game, but now here I am!
I think that I will even start a new game lol
EDIT 2:
And looking around, I just found that there will be a God Eater 3!!!!!!!!!

Heh, you're welcome! I play around 250+ hours on my PS vita for GE:R and now playing at 21:9 60+fps, it's a HUGE diffrence. Wish I can import my save onto here :(
I might help you out diespite starting at LV.2 difficulty in the game.
And hopefully GE3 have full 4K support, true 144hz, and ultrawide.
I basicly answer this question by a simple google serch. You're welcome :)
