Still nobody cares. It's a vicious cycle. Skip the game and move on, you're not adding anything helpful here.

Come back when the world ended

I was interested but since it seems they don't care to remove an intrusive DRM (that was already cracked a year ago anyway) I ended up grabbing Fire Pro World instead.

How denuvo is intrusive haha

It's still too expensive for a Denuvo game.

I have no clue why Bandai Namco uses Denuvo. The DRM doesn't function at all for it's purpose and only ticks off consumers. I guess Bandai Namco hates their customers.

Websites on the internet gathers more intruvsive information about you than Denuvo does lol.

DRM is never going to go away. Denuvo is the first to just work in the background without pestering the user in anyway and it's the kind of protection the average user can live with.

If you don't want the PC platform to just be a wasteland of asset flipped indie/voxel games you should be glad it exists too.

You just convinced me to pick it up and give it support.

shill

I'm inclined to agree these days. I'm not sure if the use of shills is on the rise, or if my suspicion of people is if not both actually. But I grew tired of pointing out shills after dealing with zenimax eso threads for a a few weeks and being "warned" and banned every time I'd ask a rude poster if they were shilling lol. Clearly the (within ten minutes every time) swift moderation while the rude shills continued to post freely and usually unedited pointed out i was right about them.

Ever since, I trust my gut when I suspect a shill. It's not safe to give the benefit of the doubt, when my money is at stake and I won't be giving it to crooked corporations that pull this sort of nonsense. The zenimax shills are honestly high quality, though. Some of them are. The one you quoted, is the typical "high-volume low-quality" shill and steam discussions would be the right place for them haha.

I would suspect the guy I quoted as well, since it's a common shill tactic to shame and ridicule others into withholding their opinions, but this is steam discussions after all and he is likely just a dumba** that needs to go back to school and learn to write.

Once again though, I must say I was impressed by the shilling on the zenimax elder scrolls online forums. The nazis even have strict control over registration for them, they try real hard to supress opinions that could cost them money and employ shills to shame and ridicule them to kingdom come free of most censorship themselves except for the blatant bait by a few posts that get carried awaya nd noticed by too many people.

If you're looking to be entertained by shills, I suggest the eso forums during controversial periods (like pre-morrowind and the blanket ban of at least dozens of people banned literally for just playing the game during morrowind's pc early access period while beta testing it essentially for the console plebs). The company is coroked as hell, and heavily into censorship as a result, but their shills can be entertaining sometimes.

To the point of this thread, I will assume denuvo is present unless officially stated so no buy even if it were 50 cents.

In response to the shill in this thread, the pc would become a wasteland of asset-flipped garbage if there was a hardcore oppressive drm that actually wasn't able to be worked around. denuvo has been worked around by the way, but the point is if demos could be denied and youtube let's plays (and similar videos) supressed (let's face it, most people are pu**ies and would take down a video if "told to" and youtube is ran by jews and would simply ban them if they had the balls to keep it up) a truly oppressive drm would lead to a crash if people stopped buying games with no clue to the quality of them. (cough last batman). Or if they continued to buy cluelessly like mindless consumer zombies there would be no encouragement to develop anything other than asset-flipped garbage.

My personal issue with it beyond it's redundancy when a game is on steam or any other service with it's own protection (same way that I view the uplay garbage) is that one denuvo game actually wanted to 'check in' or some stupid ♥♥♥♥ once when I had no itnernet access and hadn't played it for along time. The irony was I was saving the game for exactly a period in time like that.

It may be different between games. I only had a few with denuvo that I was aware of since I only bought the ones I had demos for (Doom, did run very well) or that people said performed well across the board but after that I wrote it off entirely. I don't care if it's once a year or "only after patches", that should not happen with single player games after STEAM's first-run on Install, not denuvo's demand every time I patch the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ or haven't played for a while. Relay that info to the jews that hired you to post garbage like yours everywhere someone complains about denuvo.

Bamco loves denuvo, and the only reason dark souls didn't have it is because they would have wound up banning everybody that would have actually bought it (if it had denuvo) for having the denuvo bound to the game because they can't do anti-cheat with a proper whitelist for safe/common apps such as riva tuner, ds4 use and ultrawide fixes. They would have had lots of bans lol, no joke. bans of the people that would have actually bought it and played legit to begin with if it had denuvo.

They couldn't handle it in that game, and they Knew a lot of people would simply not have bought it if they put denuvo in it. A flagship series you don't screw around with it if you're savvy, and they were pretty savvy to the fact people hate denuvo. All denuvo is used with an expectation of is that the pirated versions of games are delayed for days to weeks. When you already expect to sell a boatload of copies of a game, especially knowing many are hardcore players, you don't risk using something like that knowing it could ironically cost many of those sales when a lot of those people will hate having extra junk like denuvo running.

If they had any other games as huge as the souls games (including bloodbourne if were to ever geta port, or their next soulesque game) they wouldn't use denuvo on them because they know better. They know those types of games will already have huge sales, and that denuvo would deter many of those sales. Not to mention it would be a nightmare for them to handle when it came to how they lack the ability to handle proper anti-cheat and it would create more work making sure multiplayer was as smooth as possible. They would simply know better, like they did with ds3.

ROTFLMAO. Do you just spend all your time in Denuvo threads? This is pathetic. I casually strolled by this thread while helping someone with this game, I have no idea what your excuse is.
