VRChat crashing randomly

Hey guys,

so I've been having a blast in VRChat lately but for some reason the game just keeps crashing for me a lot on certain days. Today for example the game crashed 6 times in about 4 hours of play, and one crash was ~3 minutes after the last one. But last week I've had a session for almost 5 hours straight with no crash at all.
I've checked my temps while playing and they are completely fine. I've also experienced no crashes at all in other VR games. My drivers and Windows are up to date.

OS: Windows 10 Pro
VR Headset: Valve Index
CPU: Ryzen 9 3900
GPU: Radeon RX 6900XT
RAM: 32GB 3600Mhz

I would really be thankful if anyone could tell me what else to try or if somebody experiences similar issues.

Amd gpu seems not able to stably render shaders in some vrchat worlds even using non-vr mode. Probably driver problem. Won’t be fix if you wanna play vrchat without crashing, just sell the amd card and go with nvidia

Yes it's pretty bad advice and just trashtalk. The problem has been fixed by now anyway, probably by a driver or VRC update.
