List of Scoundrel vendors?
I quote the wiki is wrong, it lists Eithne as a Scoundrel vendor, but it's false, she hasn't any single Scoundrel book.

So is there a refreshed list somewhere?

Because the only single Scoundrel vendor in Driftwood attacked me from dialog with no clear reason and I didn't realized he was a vendor due to his crap drop.

I do believe that wiki is correct. Eithne is probably listed because she sells source books of all types. I do not believe another Scoundrel vendor exists in Act 2, you'll probably have to wait until Act 3 to buy any more. It's worth noting you can kill any NPC outside of Malady, the game allows it, but there are consequences.

Well not only Eithne looks like a pretty wrong quote of the wiki, at least from content of my current play, but also I reach a merchants caravan blocked, one marchant has like 3 books of many school, including Scoundrel. Is this Act III I reach in advance or one more wiki error?

If you're not above adding mods, get Odinblade's Scoundral overwork mod. It reworks some skill,s adds other ones, and adds a new vendor that stays on your ship and hangs around parts of the map.

Yeah but there's this bizarre (bad) design that achievements are disabled with any mod. I'm not obsessed by achievements nor try collect them, but I like they record the progression of the first play.

Oh that's not a problem, the mod (along with most of class overhaul mods) requires the script extender which allows achievements with mods.

Install odinblades scoundrel overhaul and just buy the skillbooks you want from the vendor. You don't have to use the new skills he added, and he changed a lot of the base ones. Once you have the vanilla ones you want, uninstall the mod.

It's not a mod, it's a hack, windows only.

What? This can be done and reactivate achievements? Thanks, for sure that will make my life easier (it's a long road to reach the merchant not quoted in wiki with few Scoundrel scrolls). If I want stick to try a Scoundrel (planning ditch it out for a ranger) I'll have to do that.

Make sure you install norbytes script extender though it lets you get achievements with mods activated. You also need it for odinblades scoundrel overhaul

Ho ok so no solution, the extender isn't a true mod, it's Windows only dll stuff, obviously more a hack.

So add mod then remove mod doesn't re enable achievements?

It's not a hack wtf are you talking about it lets modders access more code so they can make deeper mods...

The mod itself won't work without the script extender. You're gonna have achievements enabled anyway because you need it for the mod.

Steam Workshop mods aren't supposed to be Windows only, the extender quoted is a manual install of dll, windows only, not a mod in Steam workshop.

All mods requesting it shoudn't be in Steam workshop. It's quite comical how the system get perverted.

I suppose I could ask a refund because mods don't work on Mac because of the requirement of a manual install not even provided by Steam. :-)

What the actual hell are you talking about lmfao the system gets perverted? Why are you acting like the script extender is a hack and some kind of virus? And why would you want a refund because you can't get a mod? All because you killed the scoundrel vendor LMFAO this is your fault

Calm down and consider I bought the full game and can't have any mod because most require some dll hacking. And it wouldn't be hacking if the game was managing it but it doesn't.
