WeMod, or a decent trainer?

Hey all. I am playing this game for the first time, and since I only play offline by myself, I was wondering if WeMod works for this game, and if so, how? It asks me if it is the Classic or Definitive Edition, and neither can seem to get past the launcher screen without WeMod telling me "We are having trouble finding your open game" after that. If it does do anything, it just resets the game.

How do I get this to work, or is there another trainer that does work that I can use? Thanks in advance

Thank you; I got WeMod to work directly after posting this. I just wanted a god mode for my character, and it turned out a lot better than I thought that it would. Again, thanks for the help, my friend

Either can work. I just don't like how Larian designs their XP spread, so I use Cmdr to bypass that crap. WeMod would also work.

You can pull up the regular Divinity Original Sin 2 and change the game by clicking on mod settings and selecting the definitive edition you have in your steam library.
