Way to craft trap disarm kits?
Hello. So Ive noticed there is a very meager list of craftables on the wiki, and recently discovered lockpicks can be crafted from nails and a hammer, was hoping the same could be done with disarm kits. Found some traps that have super rare items in them that can only be obtained by disarming them, to avoid spoilers thats all Ill say.

Anyone know if its possible? And if not, who/what vendors sell them? So far Ive found them to be suprisingly rare, have only come across three in my 75 hours of playtime.

Fun fact: your character doesn't need a recipie to craft, as long as you know the mats needed as a player.

Funner fact is that in over a week Jacobellinginger chose not to look into his/her recipe book and disclose the recipe!...I think there was a little confusion involved here.

How to disarm a trap:

1. Cast magic buff on yourself... run to trap. teleport out.

2. Use oil pool based spell to detonate from range.

or just shoot with arrow. I think most here are crafting enthusiasts though.

Some traps can only be disarmed, and go off multiple times. For those, disarm kits can be useful if you're not into slip ups with pathing killing your party =)

There is always another way, but disarm kits can be handy.

I went back to town and bought some.
I know you can detonate them from range, but like to Save, Disarm first to check, as I believe some traps when disarmed yield goodies.

The recipe is as follows;

1. Merchant (Scoundrel type)
2. Gold

Combine these two and you should be able to make yourself some trap disarm kits no problem...

As most have concluded above, I don't think you can craft them. But honestly, you don't really need to. Disarming doesn't give xp, so just have an INT armored party member run in, then run out. Or move barrels over the devices that constantly output poison/oil. Or rain over the oil patches that catch fire. Or tactical retreat past them and pyramid to that character. There are several other ways I'm sure, and if you could craft disarm kits, I'd rather use materials on almost anything else.
