Go, Warfare 1 + Necromancy 10.
A splash of Polymorph is also good for Heart of Iron, Wings and later abilities.
Recovery provided by Necro is not that reliable, though seems quite OP.
Cuz it only heals you when you do vitality damage, which means damage to any type of armour will not heal you.
This does not work as well on Tactician, though it still has some valid use against enemyrangers and mages.
Con to Memory?
Geo+Hydro is a ridiculous support character btw.
Major in Geo,
2+pts in wafare (its fairly easy to get that one on items to boost it further)
2+pts in necro gives at least 40% drain
try to put 2pts in poly but its not a rush (just boosts main stats and gives access to some more goodies like armore regen, bull rush/medusa stare, wings)
and get 1-2 hydro from items to get access to blood rain/rain that can be turned into poison surfaces
Use Wand + Shield
now all your geo depends on int, and your warfare depends on your equiped weapons, so if you use a wand all your skill scale off INT
now dump mostly stats in Int and some in Con
Passive recomended: lonewolf, all skilled up, the one that regen 35% of all heals to magic armor, pic of health or torturer later on.
Geo is also the only school that gives access to so many different dmg type (poison, earth, physical) hence making it one of the most flexible one and a must pick for any undead char.
-warfare buffs all phys dmg,
-geo heals you with poison and damage most ennemies
-geo has lot of cc spells with oil/root
-Necro is a good bunch of heal, gives you access to some insane skills as a tank and the source skill you get from Ryker's mantion does something like 1000+ phys to anything standing in blood
-geo has reactive armor that is physical based on your armor. (so if you specced into geo you get crazy amount of it) it can dish an easy 1000+ by lvl 10-11
now you can just rush in a big pack, let them come in melee (you should have pretty low wits/initiative anyway) and you can nearly instant kill anything in melee range
Once you killed stuff, just use bone cage to get to an easy 3k+ all armor and finish anything that lives the initial burst.
Or just go the lazy way
Any race really, undead might be superior because you get an immunity to 1 whole element, but that's it
Full retribution 20 / necro10 / warfare2+ (order of priority) (should be around that at lvl 12-13)
Try to get a shield that has send back 40% melee dmg back.
then congratulation, you now reflect 100%+ of all dmg you take, and leech 100%+ of it that's if it's a spell or ranged, will be 140% if its melee.
you can add to that Defelct skill from warfare that send back the projectiles (magical or arrow) back and send them back as received (except then can crit based on you crit) ON TOP of the 100% reflect.
you wont need any skill to regen magical armor as necro heal will be more than enough to regen it. and bone cage will be your go to spell to regen all your armor.
Just a word of advice, you might have trouble dealing with monster that regen on their own damage type.
Solution is that you make both your toon with that build, then both of them are basically unkillable, anything that AOE and hit both WILL take double the damage so you can actually one shot any weaker monster that dont regen on it, and then just focus your bounce shield and mono target necro spells to kill the annoying ones.
note that those monsters arent that common, so you will still breeze through 90% of content
As Long as stuff do not One shot you (and they shouldn't since you put about 75% stats in con the rest in MEM and STR) then you'll be fine.
best fights are the ones where stuff aoe actually, because of the double dip.
