Grog the Troll, invincible or just OP?
So Ive encountered Grog. He has like 7,000 HP and his HP completely regenerates at the start of each new turn. Ive tried freezing and stunning to prevent him from ever getting a turn to act, but it appears the ability "troll blood" is passive and requires no action on the AI's part to work.

Anyone figured out how to kill him? At first thought I could teleport him off the bridge but he cant be moved, tried every status effect spell I have to negate troll blood, to no effect. Im pretty sure theres some unique item or spell for this, similar to that giant guy in snowland you have to kill with a special wand, in the first DOS. Any tips would be appreciated. Also, I know this game is new but jeez, there isnt a single walkthrough or wiki with anything past the early access content. I have yet to find anything for any quest or enemy like this, strange that its taking so long for anything to come out for this game. Makes me think it wasnt real popular at launch.

Had a rather easy time with him. Polymorph 3 required and enough vitality to survive one round just barely. Then use the Forced Exchange skill on him, rest is just keep him on fire, invis, keep on fire, invis. (note: I'm a lone wolf)

Dropped a legendary ring that I can't even identify cause it needs lore 5 ^^ guess a merchant has to do that for me

This. Just friendly attack your polymorpher beforehand (maybe even with living on the edge for the final blow) then initiate the fight, burn him, force Exchange him for 2 source Points and kill him afterwards. 1 Round kill regardless of how much HP he got.

Just killed Grog, lvl 14 lonewolf, against seamingly invinsible oponents all you have to do is use the most broken spell in the entire game call Forced exchange (polymorph) take yourself down to 1 hp, by using living on the edge, take down the targets physical armor and then exhange you life % for he´s and he´s dead, very easy and broken skill
How do you do the puzzle in this cave he guards?

That's a different troll. But you need Alexander's head

Try decay. It would turn his self heal into auto kill.
He's immune to decay.

things that make you go hmm
Fire, that's the key, any kind of it, spells, skills or arrows with fire will consume the Troll Blood.
Grog has fortify in my game ... 11k armor on the first turn -.-

But 1 round with x2 fire bombs, a fire incarnate and a meteor shower = dead troll. Dropped a level 5 ring.

Very tough fight at lvl 14 on classic. Fire worked well for me, and thankfully I had 2 pyromancers and the ability to summon the FireSlug of Doom. I did a spontaneous combustion at one point, which used up all stacks of burning - and at that point he regen'd all his health... do not remove all stacks of burning :P

Not invincible, but you definitely need to play to his weaknesses!
I just beat Grog on tactician with a level 12 party.

First, he is susceptible to charm. I just created about 30 charm arrows (using honey)
and every turn my ranger went first and charmed him.
Second, he can't heal if you keep fire under him. I just had my pyromancer create pools of fire whenever he moved. Then, you just whack him to death. Took me about 10 turns.
He's the RPG Codex created character. He's ridiculously high level for the area you find him. He also has really hard persuasion checks.

Get it? He's a 'Troll'.
Make Necrofire using the cursed blood right by him. Easy fight.
whenever you encounter a troll (or any enemy for that matter) you examine him. the trolls all have a different but destinct weakness. use it and they stop healing.
