How can I beat the ambush during the Red Prince's questline?
I found the Red Princess, and I'm trying to finish this quest, but the enemies are just impossible for me to beat. Regardless of what I do they separate the party and I'm unable to even move. Can somebody help me with this?

Which one exactly? In Arx?
if you mean those near stonegarden, you can just bypass them, no need to fight them...

Or just tornado/battle stop all fire surfaces and lizzards won't respawn.

You'll have to be more specific. There's probably about 4 fights that you could be describing right now.
And if you mean consulate, you can teleport to the doors from behind the broken wall opposite, that lead to garden and sneak lockpick them

You should be level 14 for that fight. If you are, then you’ll probably want to split your team up around that area before fighting. Overall, it shouldn’t be a hard fight if you are the proper level and are geared up appropriately. I suppose that your team composition could be a factor, but this is a pretty standard fight.

Just make sure you take the time to update your gear as well. Even if you’re level 14, you’ll fight as if you’re level 12 if all your gear (especially weapons) are still level12 and lower. Many players make the mistake of keeping really old gear for the stats when it’s often far batter to just take a higher level item with less ideal stats just for the armor or damage bonuses. I’ve seen threads about which item is better and most everyone agreed that the weapon with 20% crit chance was better than the weapon with just 3% even though the 3% item was three levels higher. The lower level item in that case was only more powerful in the 17% chance it’d crit and the other wouldn’t, and even then it was only a slight bit more damage whereas the higher level one was far superior the other 83% of the time.

Point is, upgrading items is important, even if the stat rolls are worse. My rule is weapons always get upgraded unless it’s a great roll and only kept for one level further. Armor is replaced two levels lower when possible and three levels regardless of the item you’re upgrading with. There’s exceptions like the stun immunity amulet from act one on a glass cannon Aero mage, but most are very niche like that.
