Perseverance (when it worked) + Geomancer Question
Looking at Perseverance and Geomancer I wanted to see if they work together but from googling, and my own testing just now, I've learned Perseverance is bugged and does nothing :(

I'm curious has anyone tried this combination before? Does Geo boost the armour regen from Perseverance when it's working?

I've been thinking of builds for future playthroughs that don't use Five Star Diner because I find it to be too powerful. The idea of regenning, what, 75%(?) armour after a CC might be too powerful anyway but a step in a more balanced direction.

Really? Thats sad. Fix the bug or get rid of the skill!

Geomancer states:
Increases Armour from "skills" and "potions" by 5% per Level.

So the game already gives you an answer to your question. Passive abilitys dont count as skill or potion.

Yeah I know, but for all I know the tooltip isn't telling the correct information. For example, the Necromancy skill "Infect" says it does increased damage based off intelligence, but it also scales with points in Warfare. I don't remember seeing that said anywhere in game, so I assume some effects and skills have strange interactions.
Maybe the regen that Perseverance provides (when working) is considered by the game engine as a tick from a skill. That's why I'm asking if anyone had tried it before.

What? pretty certain It says explicitly.

Warfare: Physical attacks deal +5% more damage.
(Warfare is a known Op thing)

Doh man that makes perfect sense. I even knew Infect says "Resisted by physical damage" but I think I just assumed it then became magic damage, and now that sounds stupid haha

I'd still love to test it but it's probably a safe bet Perseverance + Geo wouldn't have worked in the way I was wondering.

Cheers for the replies eveyone.

Of course it scales of warfare, because it does physical damage and warfare increases ALL physical damage.

Perseverance is a waste of a skill if you ask me. Go for damage skills, dead enemies don't deal damage (on their own).

Now that people are talking about Warfare, it increases the damage of heals against decayed enemies FYI.
