Only 20% off for Summer Sale?
The game was way cheaper no long ago? I missed the sale then and figured the summer sale would be the same price. Wow. :steamsad:

While I agree that that is true, some people can't afford to put that much money out for a game, depending on sales to bring it down into a range that fits within their budget

The biggest sale for this game was -25% (and that wasnt a sale, they just handed out coupons). So not really "way lower".

You kind of get two games, as every owner of DOS2 will get the enhanced edition as well when it is released.

Yeah 20% off isn't worth it for a power gamer. If you are a hard core rpg lover, or just loved the first one. This game is definitely worth full price never mind any sale. But for those of us that don't stick with single games for too long other than a handful of select favourites, for a game that came out a year ago we need 40-50% for it to be worth it. Plenty of others with just as much content for cheaper.

Yea I'm going to wait. I bought the first one today for $12. I'll play that for a while.

You won't be seeing this for 40-50% off for a long while yet.

It's got the definitive edition coming up in August so it will probably still only be 20% off at Christmas.

Maybe a year or two you'll see it that low.

It should be 10 dollars cheaper. 25.99 would be fair, but 35.99 and I start thinking about what I can pawn off or what other bills I could neglect to get it. Guess I'll be waiting a while.

The price is worth it but totally much depends what RPG your looking for.

I am looking for:
* Smart AI
* Immersive animations, i.e. eat will show eating action, pickup loot will show picking action etc.
* Spectacular battle/combat
* Near 100% breakable environment
* Decent but unpredictable stories with multiple endings
* High replayability, i.e. game+, game++ etc.

*the AI is Ok even though it has a few hickups.
*The animations are amazing and should fulfill your expectations
*Quite a few items can be broken but not the main playground, that would make the whole game messy. If you have a RPG where almost everything is breakable point me to it, nothing comes to mind.
*The story is amazing, choice filled, although you might find some twists expectable. The fact the game is heavily choice based and changes according to the character you play and/or the character in your party links to the game being heavily replayable.

A basically better-than-many-triple-A games that goes for 30-ish bucks at full price, and you're moneyrubbing enough to feel 20% off is too little?

Get a better paying job.
