Traps in D:OS2?
Finished part 1 and good fun. Really liked the game, but hated all the millions of TRAPS everywhere. Ruined part of the game for me.
Now about to start part 2 and curious to know if it is less insane or if there are mods to deal with it? (e.g. auto-disarm traps in range, set trap damage/radius lower, etc)

Dont worry, there are not much traps in the Game, exept in one cave maybe. You should be fine.

There are LOADS of traps in the game... but they're completely worthless due to auto-regen on HP out of combat.

So, even if you don't have a Heal skill or potions... it doesn't matter. Also... bedrolls.

I've never been killed by trap in DoS 2

Literally just keep your bedroll hotkeyed and run through traps with reckless abandon, spamming the bedroll. Only the most ridiculous of traps have a chance to kill you.

I can think of one deadly trap in the whole game. Dying to anything else requires a miraculous feat of ignorance or obliviousness.

There's one trap that sprays deathfog in the small room you are in, and that's the only trap that I died.

Last I saw, it doesn’t do that anymore.

Yeah, the dying part of what I’m referring to is when you run through all the things. Like the entrance to the black pits cave. You’ll be fine if you stop halfway.

I witnessed it last January. I might try it again once I get to Arx. It's an obvious trap anyway to those who haven't experienced it yet. lol
Honestly, the traps in this game are easy to get around and a disappointment from the last game. Just my opinion though.

So, no the traps are not an issue.

There's only one trap in the game I've encountered so far that was able to do severe harm. It was in the part in Arx doing Lohse's personal quest, in the demon's personal plainworld. Other than that, only one area in Driftwood, the old lumber camp, or dunno, where some evil bastards took a familiar face as prisoner. But it was due to relatively big difference in levels, and the traps did a larger damage than usually.
Just others said: bedroll and you'll be cool

This is a good question. As I've yet to beat it or even get super far I am also curious...

Are there any Traps in this game? Not sure this is anime enough for traps, but you never know.
