Who exactly is Braccus Rex???

I can't seem to find a wiki that has extensive details of this person...i.e who he was? what his motivations were etc etc. All i get from the DOS wiki is that he is a boss and that's it. For a game that sprouts his name left right and centre there seems to be absolutely nothing on this guy on the web.

He was necromancy Hitler of this world. Has been long dead even to DSO1 which was 1200 years ago.

Short Answer: Necromancy Hitler (love that description, Sai).

Slightly Longer Answer: The Source King. Somewhere in the middle between the really fancy ancient empires and Original Sin 1, he was a guy who discovered some of the stuff from the fancy ancient empires and became a really powerful source user. He was basically a huge jerk with a morbid sense of humor, and loved to torture people forever in funny and morbid ways. He even forged a soul bond with his sister to avoid ever having to die. He pulls a Voldemort and keeps coming back to life through shenanigans.

Minor spoilers in there. Nothing really game wrecking.

The first Divinity was Divine Divinity and ended with Lucian the Divine One not killing the baby Damien who was the reincarnated Demon Lord of Chaos.

he didn't forge a soul bond to avoid having to die, he broke his soul bond, so that her death doesn't lead to his. the whole reason braccus went mad is because he became afraid, afraid to die.
