About Alice Alison <SPOILER>
So I was lvl 13 when I stumbled upon this hothead
Sweet Amadia.
That was one annoying boss in every sense of the word. Grog looked like an angel compared to this literal witch (and Slane the useless dragon is pretty much child play compared to both)
Not only she caught me in conversation by herself, every single part of that conversation led to a fight that almost guarantee 1-2hit KO AOE. (not to mention her language is completely inconceivable)

Bring it on -> FIGHT
Take leave -> FIGHT
Calm down -> Persuation -> Fail -> FIGHT
Calm down -> Persuation -> Success -> FIGHT
UNDEAD Calm down -> Persuation -> Fail -> FIGHT
UNDEAD Calm down -> Persuation -> Success -> FIGHT

And hell, the only weakness she has, Water, she suddenly gain immunity over for absolutely no conceivable reason. Not to mention those annoying eternal totems and Aura of Pain.

Good thing terrain is to our advantage in this fight
Cheesed the hell out of her by teleporting her down the cliff, into the beach far enough for her to have to spend some AP walking back before being able to use spell. Furthermore, I doused the ground with blood and summoned incarnate and bone window (with living edge) to tank her. Btw, blessing the blood, poison or fire below her is also nice.

So, how did other people do it?

Buy restoration spells and scrolls. Then that fight is cakewalk

Cast Bless on her to remove the pain aura, survive her first turn by pre-casting frost armor on the people with the least amount of magic armor, and drink fire resistance potions on everyone, and then reduce her physical armor and knock her down forever.

teleported her to Jahan. He eats her in 2 turns.
Yes it's cheesing but i really didnt feel like fighting her. The rewards are mediocre anyway

Dechain your people cast armour of frost on one. have some one else cast bless

The Jahan solution is hilarious. Brilliant.

My team just bruteforced it, our ranger died but mostly to bad positioning since he wasn't prepared for the aura to deplete all his health, but that's about it. We just kept hitting her 'til she died, kept healing one another to keep each other alive & death resist to the ones closest to death.

lol I was on Tactician so restoration spells dont really work. Every hit from her is 1hit KO, armours and everything

Interesting. That would have helped

I kill your shining lights. And she did.

As she wiped my whole party at lvl 14 in the first turn, I waited till lvl 15. Then I started the fight with an attack (of Lohse's incarnate) which is cheating of course. I had first tried it from the dialog but I had two dead companions then and resurrection scrolls are quite expensive.

Second trial, she wasted all her might on the incarnate but could not kill it. Second turn she was dead. Funny thing was, she charmed the incarnate and it killed Sebille, my ranger, who was on low health. I took the costs as I was too lazy for a third trial.

Have you ever thought of unchaining your party and not walking in a tight cluster?
Ceredh Sep 27, 2017 @ 4:52am
That's cheating. I start all fights from the group formation first and try to deal with it.
DarkFenix Sep 27, 2017 @ 4:57am
I activated the convo (lone wolf, sword and board), my friend (lone wolf, ranger) used assassinate from sneaking (or possibly ballistic shot from the longest range he could manage, I forget). Boom, most of her armour gone in one shot. Sword and board fighter is one of the few things she can't instakill, she never got a second turn.

I like how people use all kinds of excuses to justify their less-than-smart plays these days.

You know, Alice fights you tied to a cross and half-naked - try throwing away your weapon and armour? Cause otherwise that's cheating.

To be fair, Alice fighting at all is already cheating because it's actually "Corpse of Alice Alison". Shes as dead as it gets.

That still make you stand on fire and surrounded by armoured totems tho. Not much but it's something. But geez, blessing here sure makes things easy. Passive 150-200 piercing damage each turn hurts. I had to throw her down a cliff and snipe down while sending on edge summons down there to avoid that shiz

Hey now! He could be trying to roleplay the Forrest Gump of Godwoken. We have to respect the choices of all adventurers, even the ones who use intelligence as their dump stat. :P
