I hated the Witcher 2 for them. Geralt's look and apparently unparalleled libido being able to bang every other pretty townsgirl and her grandma really ruined the character for me.

I dunno, people tend to be very self centered, and that tends to be a big topic of conversation... but I do see how the narration takes away some of the seriousness and immersion, but then again, the game isn't meant to be a, erm, nighttime sort of game.
