Burning Pigs: poor Design, So Undead Can't complete this quest...[spoilers]
Yep if you do a custum group, like i did for my undead play through, this quest essentially breaks and becomes uncompleteable. What essentially happens is to compelet the quest you have to talk to the big statue and when you do that she ALWAYS blesses you and not the water... thus is no way to save the pig... this needs to be looked at and fixed because its pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that the quest is undoable because of a race choice... and its not as if the problem is actually your race breaking it, but a mechanic causing it to be impossible.

Pretty upsetting that i got all the way to the end of that for zero pay off all because i chose to be a skele group...

Its very completable as Undead. You'll learn the bless spell yourself if you keep playing. Just cast it on the Pigs as needed.

Or you could use your brain, explore some dialogue, and get the water blessed another way. But throwing a tantrum is easier, right?

It's not like there is another way to do the quest huh ?

Em..what? It's not like there's multiple ways to do quests in this game right?

N+2 means that important quests have at least two other ways of completing them.

Weird. I have Fane, the undead, as my player character, but I still had the choice to turn the pool blessed or otherwise.
But you cant get the water blessed is the point, as an undead character Amadia will always bless you and not the water it doesn't matter what options you choose, and you cant just bless the pig or the water that doesn't work, as far as i can tell only option to completion is to talk to the statue as a non-undead and she will bless the water, but as an undead she blesses you.

It's not a tantrum it's pointing out a flaw in the quest design. They assume you will have a non-undead character, or somehow undead custum characters are breaking the quest entire. Either way its a problem.

I tried it with all 4 of my undead characters and she will always bless you not the water.

I completed that quest in my first playthrough without even realising you could talk to the statue.

It absolutely does work. You absolutely can bless the pigs.
The quest is not even slightly broken.

Feder walking into land mines is a bigger issue. =P

That should be looked at by the devs, but in the meantime can't you remove one of your companions to recruit a non-undead character to complete the quest?

Every character gets the Bless ability in the game, so it doesn't matter whether Amadia blesses something or not.
You get it when you have a chat with your god, Bless is an ability that uses 1 source point, besides questing and stuff its rather useless

The quest is not even slightly broken.

You can bless the pigs and stop the fire, but that's not the end of the quest, there is still curing Fedor, which requires you to send her to amadia's statue, telling her to stand in the water and then talking to the big face, and choosing the sympathetic options. She usually blesses the water itself, curing fedor but as an undead character she instead blesses you, not the water. Thus making the end of the quest undoable.

Essentially you MUST have a non-undead character to complete the quest

1: blessing Fedor does nothing
2: you can not target the pool itself
3: talking to the statue blesses you not the water
4: choosing the rude option kills the pig and does damage to you and curses the area

Unless there is a solution, nobody has mentioned on any of the sites i've seen it appears this quest is not completeable as a full undead party, it requires a non-undead to click the statue to bless the water.

THUS undead can not cure fedor,

If you create a full custom party no, you cant dismiss the characters, meaning if you ever played with 4 friends you'd run into this same problem. So even if you say " well you arent really suppose to do that " I counter with, " yea but if you had 3 friends and got here you'd be pretty annoyed " so its still a problem.

Well, i made the statue cry, as a living character, so the pig was obliterated thus finishing my quest. Probably not helpful, but oops :D

The quest is 2 part. The curse is 2 part. Blessing all the pigs quells the fires. Having them take a spa session in Amadia's blessed waters turns them into magical 2 legged creatures that also function as one of the best merchants until you leave the region..

I guess most of you never really got to this point.

And as an aside, you did try using the mask to change your race right?
