Hidden Cave (Spoilers)

Near where you meet Fane outside of Fort Joy, there's a cliff with a dead elf below. I can see the entrance to a cave from the cliff. Could you please - providing a spoiler tag - tell me how to find the other entrance?

I've played Act I basically my whole ~70 hours, constantly replaying and looking for every little thing and testing out other builds and such. I have yet to find this little cave entrance. This is probably not the only thing I cannot find, but it is the only thing I know about that I cannot find.

There is no other entrance, it's a one-way ticket to the dungeons .. you can teleport yourself down to the ledge, break the stump which unveils a hole that when you use it puts you at the bottom of the cliff on the beach, loot the elf, then hop in the cave which dumps you in the cell with the friendly dwarf guy.

Huh. I had absolutely no idea! I've been driving myself crazy over this. Is there anything worth it on the elf's body or down there to begin with?
