*PROTIP* Removing Death Fog
tl;dr : create steam to remove death fog

Hey guys, I just finished defeating Isbeil and during the fight, alot of barrels of death fog exploded, sealing my exits. So this forced me experiment on how to remove it.

Some other post mention either having Undeads in your team, since it heals them. Or having an aeromancer which can use the spell Tornado . I have neither. Good old living physical damage dealers.

After trying everything I had I managed to remove death fog.

The trick is to "replace" it. The battlefield is seperated into two parts, the ground and the air. Death fog lingers in the air. So what you want to do is to create steam. My way was to use a water arrow and follow with a fire arrow. This removed the death fog, ever so slowly.

Since I dont have any spellcaster, I cannot test it out, but I know some spells create clouds of this and clouds of that. If anyone is willing to test it out and tell me. :)

This does not work. So much for a "pro tip".

if you have Undead (either playing as one or fane) , he can safetly walk through it right? and teleport to him ?
Or just teleport companions over it .

No, that's definetly Isbel's lab.

A slightly lengthy way I've found was to make it rain, then set fire to the patches of deathfog that have rain under it, which replaces the fog with steam. So essentially create steam and replace the deathfog.

Tornado skill can remove deathfog too
Nodork Oct 21, 2017 @ 1:04pm
yep, tornado ftw, it removes any groundeffect, cursed-fire, deathfog, everything.

Casting Geomancer spells like fossil strike, impalement or earthquake drop oil that when ignited also clear deathfog. Although the latter will explode any unbroken deathfog barrels or crates which can take out you party.

Well, if you're stuck due to anything... You can just use Waypoint Travel :awkward: The anchor next to your minimap, or if controller - menu, the option should be there.

Or possibly toss a pyramid to the other side and teleport to that.
Nice! Thanks. :praisesun::VORUS:
