Spear Heavy Armor User

I have yet to try spears, anyone with experience can tell me a lil bit about it? is it worth for a play throught? can I do it with heavy armor?

The heavier armors only need about 14 strength, so you can bump yours up to 12 and be fine for most of the entire game. Spears are absolutely fine. They have great reach, which makes them ideal for Whirlwind or Crippling people and stabbing them from a distance when they cannot attack you back.

That's about it. They are not amazing, and they are not terrible. Just right smack in the middle. You can definitely complete the game with a spear user.

There is a mod that adds in specific spear skills. Pretty cool.

You can get the Spear of Braccus Rex almost immediately. Just go to the Elven Enclave and play Hide and Seek with the young boy. It's not the most powerful spear, but it's a great help right in the beginning of the game.

I've seen it but I got some achievements I missed out due to bugs on my first game so I want to get those and mods disable them.
