Fane because he is a psychopath. Has very high charisma, wise and unpredictable.
Seb is on a murderous revenge rampage and Beast well he looks like a pirate outlaw.
Sebille
Red Prince
Fane
Iban and Beast have very goody goody moralities, and their attitude drops like it would be raining.
No origin character is Evil, per se, but there are some twists:
- Red Prince is a spoiled child, that would do whatever it takes to regain his empire, even consorting with demons. That can be seen as morally ambiguous.
- Sebille is a very pragmatic girl with post traumatic disorder. She prefers straight approaches, and kills without regrets. She does it for vengeance, even if her hearth is golden. Again, this can be seen as very morally ambiguous.
- Lohse. She is a bard. And a joker. She belongs to a land of Sunshine, Unicorns, Rainbows and that sorta things. But she is possessed by an extremely powerful and fierce demon. The demon, is evil, for Evil is its element. This is the only direct connection we have with "Elemental Evil", to use a D&D term. Therefore, I see Lohse as the most appropriate.
Storywise, Lohse have no connection to the Gods, but with her host. Again, a connection with Evil. Lastly, Lohse can choose to banish or embrace this evil, to the point of ascending with it, as two facets of the same reality. But you see...she can have that choice.
To conclude, playing Lohse, especially an evil Lohse, will transform the game experience by a big deal of things. You try that, and tell me how it went.
If you play as a villain . You might hear Fane say stuff like
- This is atroce !! How can someone be so cruel !
And it totally break my immersion.
Some choice also. You can't be a real villain in this game. Nothing like Rex anyway.
hey, i have a question about fane/ act 3
when you enter the academy the voidwoken will ask fane to join the god king, does this also happen to another character when you dont have him in the party? also is it possible to join the god king without fane ?
Im also planning on a 2nd playthrough as a villain, on my first playthrough i chose fane, lohse and sebille so for the villain playthrough i will go with red prince, ifan and beast. i dont know if this is the best choice or not but i think it doesnt really matter anyway, does it
Does that mean that you can side with, or embrace your demon as Lohse? Does that also come through in her voice lines?
