If you choose correct way in dialogue you will fight couple undeads together. That will give you more xp.
If I remember correctly: say you are sorcerer > say him to trust you > give him hand > tell him he is damaged badly > dont move when he trying to arrest you.
That way will bring fight with undead.
Source has the power to alter life.
Source has the power to blend with magic to clean/patch wounds.
Source can not create legs/tongues/eyes/noses/appendages
Source can not cure Lokes missing eyes. Perhaps if you can find his eyes, then magics could help his wound, but that fleshy eyes part is literally missing from his skull. His eyes do not exist as an item, also ewww gross, eyeballs in your bag.
Maybe magic could close the eye wounds and heal him, but I don't think it should spawn eye balls from the nether.
BUT he's all like "nooo not magic, ill go SEE someone at the fort".
Where does it say his eyes are missing? It just says he has two gashes cutting through them.
And like someone else said, when we raise the dead they can see, and there are spells to give a different kind of sight.
