Fighting Alksendar and the big worm
Hey there, so i have a team lvl 7, with some pretty good stuff, not perfect but it's good. But i don't really know how to do the fight, because the worm keeps doing incredible AOE dmg, so what are the strategies to get the worm to do the maximum damage to alkendar and his friends, and to avoid getting destroyed by him/they. Thanks !

spread out and focus on the worm first

I just spread out and kept my guys away from the worm and focusesd on killing the magisters, since their damage was split between my party and the worm. Once I killed most of the magisters the worm died, and then I just mopped up the rest of them.

Very simple (all mages party, tactician, lvl 8) - initiate conversation, get on highest ground, remove oil barrel from here (bonus points if you're placed it to enemies), start fight with teleporting polymorphist from that area far, far away. Keep one teleport off cd for negating alexander nether swap.

Then unleash everything (you can focus alexander to remove Faith +50% damage buff on enemies, but we ignored him and killing tresh because it's more fun to do).

Dome of Protection (from generic chars) and Fane Time Warp help a lot.

If your mages are purely damage focused - then up to worm arrival remains 1-2 mobs.

Rest is stupidly easy.

I went in from the left of the screen (or right depending on camera, the part that overlooks the enemy)
Teleported their archer over and kept most of my guys to that side unti the worm came on, then took out the riffraff whislt the worm got busy fighting Alex and his magic claw hands dead face friend.
When you come in on the left side, Alex runs towards the stairs. The worm appears there.

I fought outside the area, near the stages. Teleport will help you :) The rangers don´t follow you there. Kill Aleksandar first, he should die short after the worm spawns. The enemies will focus the worm, so you can try to spread your damage a bit.

I always just ignore the worm and continue to murder Alxeander (even if the worm is right next to us), the other AI tend to go for the worm, and I just nail their leader before finishing the worm theyve mostly killed :-S

Teleport is handy way to start the fight from your side of the archway, screwing up their archers/mages on platforms.

alexandar and his allies can easily kill the worm in 3 - 4 turns. Best thing to do is spread out and kill the others while conquering high ground. The magisters and alexandar will ignore you and focus on the drillworm first

Walk down the steps after killing shriekers, gareth and pals come to join you. Tell them to hang tight for a minute rather than charging the boat. Sneak into the archway ahead and teleport alexander into the middle of gareth's war party.

Easy mode.

It's like 16 v 5 v worm and all alex's buddies are too far away to help him, he dies in a turn or two.

That's a pretty sneaky plan. Good thinking.

If you're playing on Tactician and all the magisters have the Faith buff (+50% damage) the worm is the least of your troubles. They murder it quite quick. I found it more advantageous to focus down some of the magisters and ignore the worm.

Didn't wanna help take it down and have to face a squad of still healthy magisters.

We used it whole game up to monday in coop. Never saw any freeze from it.

When ive done that encounter twice, once with a party and another on a lone wolf character. with the party of four i just teleported Alexendar into my party and murdered him first while the others focuse dthe worm.

I used a similar tactic on my lone wolf char but there i had to fight in a choke point o avoid getting surrounded. Good fight overall just try not to fight everything at once, i did that a few times and it didnt go well for me

Here is the easiest way to win. Position yourself near the door at the front and use it as a choke. Do what you can, but your priority should be staying alive. When the worm spawns just run away and let the worm and magisters kill each other. All you have to do in here is sweep back in and finish the rest of them off. I recommend running all the way to the shore where you saw all the seekers go to make sure the voidwoken does not attack you.

Huh, most easiest way for me was to left most of my party near abandoned camp and use one companion to initiate fight, after what that campanion runed as fast as possible back to party. After 3rd round worm just spawns in the middle of magisters, and both of them are dead/injured and it's very easy to kill whoever is alive. Yeah, it's kinda cowardish but, that's most easiest way to win that fight.
