Basically you get double stat points so they are basically twice as powerful as a normal party member in terms of damage
Con:
You have half the cooldowns to work with sense you are missing 2 people.
Easier to gear 2 party members.
Less inventory to manage.
Can become overpowered very quickly (if you enjoy the power fantasy).
Con:
Less dialog since you don't get origin character conversations and quests.
Enemies have fewer targets to focus CC on (only a problem early in the game).
Can remove any sense of challenge in the game (if you don't enjoy the power fantasy).
It is still very easy. Had to quit the run with a solo summoner because it was boring from being too easy.
A solo two-handed run has been more interesting and I'm enjoying that one. Once I know all the ins and outs of the game areas I'll be going for a duo run without lone wolf. That should be interesting on tactical.
Especially with Lone Wolf, it's not hard to have high amounts of Hydro AND Geo.
