deos anyone else think the portal at the end of the glass desert should have some sort of seceret ending or dlc to get it working again or some requirements to unlock whats on the other side

There are story reasons it probably shouldn't be, but not everyone even realized this game had a story.

i did find it a bit weird that the credits roll via mail and not the portal. it's not unusual for games to have a fade-to-black action-y ending to imply the next game(or just the next adventure, if they aren't sure they will do another game), and then after the credits you are right where you were before walking through the portal. i would have preferred that personally. more satisfying to have the ending feel under your control, the mail one was jarring.
