Thanks, I'm referring more to better returns on the harder to find resources such as Indolium, Royal Jelly, Lava Dust and Silky Sand not the common stuff. Playing last night I definitely found areas of the Indigo Quarry that produced greater returns of Indolium, so I don't think it's randomly produced and is hopefully designed to reward exploration, as it should.
Indigonium is a common resource but zone exclusive to the indigo quarry. Going based on the code the only matter is if its in the indigo quarry. So literally based on what makes the game actually produce those at all - its not dependent on a placement aside from zones and is entirely rng dependent. [/quote]

On the flip side from a development stand point that extra depth doesn't fit the core theme for the game and the general target audience.
The game's core them is make choices for yourself and forge your own path. Increased relevant drop rate based on gadget spots does impact decorative options for somewhat minimal gains there.
