64 bit vs 32 bit
Which one should I use?

Here's my specs:
RTX 2070
64 gigs ram
i9 - 11900k

My computer's performance isn't an issue and I haven't ran out of memory or encountered any heat issues with it. I'm just curious if I only am running it with unneeded settings or putting extra tax on my system with minimal benefit.

I'm currently the 64 bit engine running with:
8x MSAA
Post-Processing enabled
High Quality
FPS 60
Reflections enabled

In addition to Nvidia Control Panel settings enhancing app settings with:
16 antistropic
8x super-sampling
8x antialiasing
MFAA on
Gamma Correction on

I've been finding times where 40% of my GPU is being allocated to running wallpapers in the 64 bit version of the engine. This is only happening with larger wallpapers and dips to the teens or below when using smaller wallpaper sizes. I have my wallpaper settings set to pause and mute when another app is maxed, and stopped when another app is in fullscreen,

We recommend 32 Bits because it uses less RAM, unless you use wallpapers that are larger than 4 GB in size (which are almost non-existent) or if you are trying to solve issues related to 32 Bit system libraries.

Either way, the difference is so minuscule, it will not make any difference on a modern system.

If you are seeing 40% in the Windows task manager, it's really probably just around 2% - 4%. A lengthy explanation can be found here:

Ah. Thanks dude. Your program is excellent. I hope you guys keep updating this to be even more awesome. Are there plans to add ray tracing and extra effect options down the dev map?

Ray tracing is maybe a little bit extreme for a background app, maybe we'll see that in 30 years from now. We're definitely working on some cool new effects though, be sure to keep an eye on the news section in Steam, we're always very thorough with our change logs!
