can you tell me how you do it?
I think it's ridiculous that the official help links to an outdated video tutorial. The newest version of Wallpaper Engine doesn't have the option to create a 'New Video Wallpaper' (like in the OFFICIAL help). And the lack of control in the editor is disappointing.
If your imported image sequence runs way to slow you have to set a lower frame duration on import. The standard is 0.24 but that results in slowmo for every descent 30 or 60 fps sequence. Just set it to something like 0.02 or 0.03 on import and you should get a smooth running sequence. ^^
So everyone willing to do things a bit different can count on my help.

We have also just pushed an update to the Wallpaper Engine beta which improves the performance of DirectShow so you could give that a try early if you'd like.
That's true, we are working on a new tutorial website and will completely delete the old stuff when that goes live.
