Question about PKG files

Hey!

I've seen many thread talking about these files but never got a serious answer, basically i want to get the "video" of the wallpaper i'm using but it's in a scene.pkg which i can't extract, i really want to take this video to use it as my Mac wallpaper, so if someone can help :D

If i am not wrong you are trying to create a video file from a scene wallpaper right?

You can right click on a wallpaper and select "play it on window", then you can use a recording program that can record spesific window

Why would i download+setup+fiddle with quality settings+record the correct time or the video gets too long? i also am trying to find a way to extract the original high quality file rather than these dumb recording their wallpaper methods.

I guess if this recording stuff is too "dumb" for you you have no other choice than to not have a video of that wallpaper because you can´t extract the contents of the scene.pkg that easy, at least not with a one or two click solution as far as i know.

The ones tagged as video wallpapers include the mp4 file in the steam folder so you can just copy it. A scene.pkg in the folder sounds like some kind of gif animation or whatever in the wallpaper so it would be interesting to know which wallpaper you´re talking about.
