Adding Images as Wallpapers
Any way to just add a large amount of images as just plain-jane wallpapers? I have a boatload from before I started using this and I decided to try to add them. I thought I could just drag and drop them like video files, but it seems I can't.

Any way to add them other than making a whole bunch of individual projects? It's like 600 images and I don't really want to make a bunch 1-off projects.

But why use wallpaper engine when you just want to add a ton of static images to your desktop? Just use the internal windows slideshow for the images. :steamhappy:

I want them interspersed with my animated ones. I can't animate them myself (mainly because I feel the tutorial is actually Not Good, but that's neither here nor there), but I'd still like to see them from time to time.

If you just want the still picture without animation just create a new wallpaper and drag´n´drop your image into the editor, save it and you´re done. Just an image without any animation.

But i´am afraid you have to do it for every single picture. :-/ This could take a while.

there seems to be something in the program thet lets you do this but I cant figure it out you can add multiple layers and theres a key frame tool but I cant make sense of it

The dev should just make this something we can drag and drop into the program. I too have still images that I want to mix in with animated because a) there is no animated image for some of my best images and b) sometimes I don't want every wallpaper animated.

I had to open the editor, create a wallpaper with my still image, then go to the Steam menu option and take a snapshot for each still image that I wanted to add, to make a preview image of it... just silly really. We should be able to select images from a folder on our computer, drag to the program, drop, it creates a project for each with a default preview image.

You can use this wallpaper inside of a playlist - for example - to show static images with Wallpaper Engine:
