Is there a flashing effect? Is it possible to add effects?

I'm trying to make a muzzle flash for a wallpaper. Is there a light flash effect already in the software? If not, is it possible for me to make one or download one and use it in Wallpaper Engine?

I'm trying to get something with the spark effect, however i have yet to achieve anything truly acceptable with it. I already managed to make it look like a muzzle flash but I can't make it loop fast enough

Try setting speed to 0, count to 99 and lifetime to a low value using the slider.

The Workshop will eventually get support for asset sharing too, meaning power users can create completely new effects for others to download and easily use.

Man, i´m so looking forward to this feature ´cause i have a ton of ideas for assets that i´d like to share with the community.
