Massive RAM Usage
The program's RAM is often strange. It normally would run around 60 MB before starting to run at 100-150 MB (no noticible difference) and being a huge contributor to my RAM (this is while idling). Shortly after using Wallpaper Engine, Desktop Window Manager (which is the GUI for windows aero) has been acting up as well and also increasing it's RAM to absolute levels of craziness.

here's what it looks like, is there anything I can do on this? The theme I used is https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=838762147&searchtext=

The file is pretty big (over 500MB), does the same happen with smaller videos?

Otherwise I know that some 3D hooks will cause RAM usage to increase and even leak, do you have any of those running?

It happens with all of my wallpapers regardless of type. What 3D hooks should I look out for?

Rebooted wallpaper engine and it's running at lower RAM now, but it will eventally get higher RAM for seemingly no reason. Desktop Window Manager has also considerably grown in RAM ever since i got the program last night.

RivaTuner for example, but others may have similar results.

Which resolution does your monitor have? I think the DWM memory would be linked to that mostly, but 200 MB sounds like multiple 4K displays.

Also, how does the RAM usage look with the stock wallpapers? I.e. the car, depending on various factors should reach < 20 MB.

i have a 1080p (1920x1080) monitor and a 1366 x 768 monitor (secondary). The Wallpaper Engine only takes around 60 MB RAM with the Xenoblade wallpaper and 30 MB with the stock, so it should be better? It doesn't seem to be the big problem but ever since using the program DWM is directly responsible for that.

That RAM usage sounds normal, but 200 MB DWM seems high for that setup - I would have to test though, I only use a single monitor usually, maybe the DWM memory will increase significantly with multiple monitors involved?

It wouldn't be the case because I've never had DWM higher than 40 MB since i built this computer. It's only happened since last night upon using Wallpaper Engine.
