In that case, I would suggest you just use an alternative media player. If you happen to use Spotify, that should work fairly well if you just install its app and use that as a local media player for example. The "legacy" Windows Media Player should still support it too, it's pre-installed on my version of Windows 11 at least and might be worth a shot.
