Let's say that I've created (and then animated on wallpaper engine) an Ai generated "Landscape" wallpaper;
why would I put it specifically in the "Ai" tag instead of the tag that we already have?
At the end of the day we're publishing "animations" that are NOT yet AI generated.
As I'm talking specifically about people who do animations here, I think that on the contrary, every single dude who publish AI stuff effortlessly (without animations/effects) then should put it under an "AI" tag, in that way people interested would easily find it.
I definitely agree with you there. When I made this suggestion, I was mostly thinking of the large wave of AI generated girls being machine gunned onto the Workshop, but your comment made me think about how other AI generated art should be classified.
If I understand correct, you would like to make a soft-spoken "conveyor ♥♥♥♥" tag, but there's already a conveyor ♥♥♥♥ with no AI-used. And also probably some really good AI-made wallpapers.
And it will not give anything becouse Wallpaper Engine now don't let to blacklist tags and if use Steam for searching, you'll find that people here don't give a ♥♥♥♥ on tagging. I blacklisted "girls, guys, anime" tags and still half of the results are anime girls becouse it tagged as "fantasy"
I cant understand how people dont want a filter between a machined generated art and a human one,only reason i can think is that these pople fill the workshop with these ♥♥♥♥ ai art
Because we are not selling you any product on wallpaper engine. We are making free ANIMATIONS that have nothing to do with any AI ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that you all are talking about in here.
An Ai tag can be implemented but, as I said before, It's USELESS because even if it's AI art it can still be "Anime", "Landscape" etc.
What do you want a category type tag? It's still a "wallpaper" created by a human.
Lock this thread already because it's getting ridiculous.
But even if it was just a genre tag, that would also be fine because no one seems to have an issue using the pixel art tag, even when the art is both pixel art and landscape, or anime, or girls. Same goes for the CGI, Anime and Cartoon tags - they're broad tags that indicate an art style that contains other potential tags within them. You can have an anime landscape wallpaper that's just tagged as anime, there should be no reason why the same can't be done for AI.
that is just a miss use of the tag anime, the tag anime is for when your wallpaper is from a anime, the game tag is for when it is from a game.... you see.... and the cartoon is for when you wallpaper come from a cartoon... but peole just dont get it and use what ever tag they want.
