Clock and countdown suggestion
Today i used the realtime clock in a wallpaper for the first time and an idea came to my mind. Assuming i have some sets of nice looking, static pictures showning the numbers 0 to 9 would it be possible to import these pictures into Wallpaper Engine and tell the clock or countdown script to use these pictures to show the hours, minutes and seconds instead of the font i choose?

Really awesome idea to put a realtime clock into WE and with some custom numbers i could design some letters for my clocks that fits the overall look of the scene better. :lunar2019coolpig:

So...any chance this might be doable? ^^

There are really "hacky" ways of already doing this but I really would not recommend it. In the future, it may become possible to select individual frames of an animated image and once that is possible, this would be doable relatively nicely with regards to performance. For now, using fonts is the best approach. In theory, you could even create a custom colored font (like the ones we use for emoji) but that requires some knowledge of font creation.

Thanks for replying. "Hacky ways" sounds a bit too hacky to me ;-) so i guess i´ll just wait until maybe, sometime in the distant future a feature pops up in WE that does what i was asking for.

Hoped there was some kind of extra script i could easily attach to the countdown or clock script to achieve this but no problem, i´m fine with using a normal font for the time being. :lunar2019coolpig:
