Any reason to get this for PS4 over PC?
I have both Zestiria and Symphonia on PC, and was uncertain if the PS4 granted any exclusives and whatnot. Does the PS4 version offer anything that the PC does not or vice versa? Thanks!

Unless you want the PS4 CE edition stuff but other than that is basically the same.

Unless the port is awful, which I hope it isn't

Zestiria was a fantastic port, 30 FPS aside.
They also actually did fix Symphonia and promised to not let that happen again, iirc.

If I had a PS4 I would check out both demos and pick the one that runs better. Since there is no online multi-player there is no worries about cheating other than the person sitting next to you; they are in arms reach anyways to punish them.

No reason to get this trash period when games like FF15 and Vesperia exist.
Not Milla Maxwell with black hair this time game will most likely be unfinished crap just like Xillia first half.

But I heard that people who played the ♥♥♥ ver. (including ♥♥♥ players), they rank Berseria as one of the best Tales game, at about the same level as Vesperia.

Unless you want physical, there's no reason to. Even unmodded Zestiria on PC was better than the PS4 version. They both had the same issues with shadows, mipmaps etc, at least you could get better filtering, AA , draw distance and I might forget some other stuff on PC.

Zestiria wasn't bad at all yeh. In 100+ hours on Steam I never got anything bad happening with it. Berseria should be fine too.

Zestiria's vanilla PC version has a buggy framerate limiter though that renders most systems unable to ever reach even 30 FPS. According to Kaldaien, it would cause twice as severe framerate drops at 60 FPS, so we can only hope it has been fixed for Berseria.

Yeah, I remember that, but honestly, the framepacing was never an issue on my PC and I wasn't the only one to comment in that sense. It's not because I'm not sensible to it, my frametimes were consistent at 33.33ms and it felt smooth in full screen. Only running borderless would I get the same issue others were describing. That's why I didn't mention it. It might might have to do with your CPU. Not necessarily if it's strong enough but what else is also running on your system and such.

If your PC can't provide a better or at least equal performance to the PS4 version, get it on PS4.
In terms of ingame content, nothing has been announced so far. The CE has a hardcover novel that expands the story a bit, but I think it will get "leaked" pretty soon after the game releases.
Yeah, my PC can definitely run it with ease. I just hope Kaldaien's absence won't be too debilitating to the port, knowing Bandai Namco's previous record.

If you have an even "decent" PC I'd say PC.....ports have been pretty good from these guys thus far....except from that Godeater 2 thing...but different studio....

It all depends on your PC and its specs really, if its strong enough go for it. If not pick the other option.

Well, I'm gonna play this game rendered at 4k and with SweetFX, so the PS4 would be highly inferior to me.
