But yeah, sadly it doesn't appear this game will be getting an anime of it's own. Though to be honest I don't know that I'd want one, for fear that they'd manage to somehow ruin something by changing some of the events or characters in some way to appeal to a "target audience".
Zestiria wasnt nearly as bad of a game as most claim IMO. And Berseria isnt without its own faults, either.
In fact I think the only thing Berseria has done better than Zestiria, Is the camera and other general technical things (expected from a sequel). Otherwise, I think I actually prefer certain aspects of Zestiria, such as Music and Combat. Berseria wins on Cast though.
I don't mind Sorey sticking to his ideals. Not every person is the same, the MC is still a human being. What's wrong for not wanting to kill people? I don't see how sticking to his own believes make him a loser...
And I totally dislike how the anime didn't even have the scene where Rose decides to be the Shadow for Sorey. I like the fact that she will handle the burden of handling the bloodshed instead of letting Sorey taking the resposibility. This is to let Sorey to be himself and no need to take on extra burden so that he won't be consumed by malevolence.
Those types of people always end up getting themselves killed, or others killed.
