U think there will be Berseria 2?

I think the end of this game is totally sad i all the characters deserve better.
So, do u think the will be Berseria 2, with a better end but same characters? I totally hope yes.

this is part 1 but Tales of Zes actully came out before it. So it is part 2, and rumor has they are working on a part 3. Thats a rumor at least.

There won't be any sort of Tales of Berseria 2 with same characters. But if you want a sequel, Tales of Zestiria is the sequel but with different characters because it takes place 1000 years after the events of Berseria.

I know, im starting zesteria now, but u dont think, the final is totally unfair for velvet? I mean, Laphi, and she deserve better, and only Eleanor will die soon after that XD is the only human of the group

I've gone on a long rant about this before, but no, Velvet does not deserve "better" than what she got. She is a mass murderer, to name only one of the many heinous things she's done in the name of revenge. She's vulnerable and pretty, but she's a legitimately awful person who just so happens to be fighting for a cause most humans can identify with (having free will).

She got exactly what she deserved, and so did everyone else. Artorius got to die in vain, Laphi got Velvet'd for the rest of time, Rokurou got to go murder and fight forever, Eizen... well, you'll see once you've finished Zestiria.

The ending doesn't feel "good" but it is totally justified, and I can back that point up.

The events at Berserias Ex dungeon kind of hint towards a sequel, possibly one that happens after Zestiria, but them just leaving the foreshadowing to the Ex dungeon makes me believe that they aren't really willing to go for it.

won't happen, Tales games never get more than two entries pure continuity (unless we include escort titles, in which case Aselia has 4).. the Glenwood continuity has two entries, Berseria and Zestiria.

I wouldn't say its unfair for Velvet, in a way its exactly what she wanted from the beginning, to spend her life happily with her younger brother.. her sealing the Nameless allows her to live the life she originally desired in an extended dream state..

even with that in consideration though, Velvet commited more sinful acts than any other Tales protagonist (depending on which side of the Ludger "fractured dimension" argument you fall on anyways).. Velvet wasn't exactly an upstanding individual


as for the rest of the cast, their fates are explained in either out of game content and Zestiria.. we know Eizen's, Laphicets (Maotelus) and Magilous fates from Zestiria (and how Eizen reached that state is covered in out of game writings)..

Eleanor still under a pact with Maotelus became the next Shepard.. Rokurou just wandered the world picking fights with people, and teaching those he deemed worthy some of his fighting tactics..

Sorry for awakening this old discussion but there's a 4chan thread years ago about a potential sequel for both Berseria and Zestiria in development but that project is probably scratched by now and we got Tales of Arise instead (also why they're trademarking that new Tales game name). It involved a different protagonist and the main focus is the Heaven where Malakh/Seraphim came from and the origin of Malevolence all across the world that affect both humans and Malakhim alike, also exploring the reason why some of them got casted down to earth.

With Arise and recently that remaster of Graces F yeah there's a high chance they scratched that idea already. Maybe they'll start a brand new two part games again like Xillia 1 & 2 and Zestiria/Berseria in the future who knows.
