Too bad it is one of the kind fight like this in whole game, they sure could do more work in this direction. Honestly i was surprised how dull last boss is compared to Zesteria for example. There was unique strategy for boss and multiple interesting phases, in berseria last boss left the feeling of standart code red monster, nothing more.
well tales of berseria past of zestiria lmao you understand that dont you? you want shepherd to turn to beastly? wtf last boss on zestiria is god of calamity lmao and you comparing the two boss
Once you threw something extra like in Zesteria you gona stick to your standarts, last boss in Berseria is a major laydown in combat section for this series. And as i said they didnt do much for bosses anyway, having 1 unique fight for all game.
Im not a fan, but i saw fights in naruto something game, which is also bandai game, and there ALL fights have secret endings, techniques, Mystic artes dodges etc, making you wander if they actually tried in this game.
play naruto then lmao wait for better tales that you like
Just for fun, I wanted to try and beat it on chaos in the first playthrough, I had to significantly improve my gear (+8 boots for 400 healing when doing timed side steps, and stacking the "X% chance to not lose souls when using soul break" seem to be key).
That fight was very tense, but it was definitely one of the best fights I had in a long while, as Shigure doesn't bring mobs, and doesn't rely on cheap moves.
He even has a fairly big window before his attacks that lets you plan your side steps and counters, making it a real test of skills rather than lucky breaks on high difficulties.
