Everything else is very useful, you don't have to keep everything inf act you could go the entire game without upgrading a single item you get dropped you just handicap yourself critically which makes the game super hard, almost unbarable.
If you're talking about any item in the "rest" category that has a small pouch icon on the left side (bronze coins and stuff) yes they're meant to be sold.
He handicapped himself with what? I kinda lost you there.
Items you pick up, be it copper coins, and what not with a bag icon at the bottom of your SELL tab, are useless and only good for being sold.
Salvaged materials and Enchancing materials are used for upgradign weapons to unlock more abilities, like 8 Souls rather than 3 - 4.
You can sell everything and just go with a regular sword, it just makes it more challenging.
So...
Herbs are good
Red Herbs are gooderer
Potions, Salvage, Enchancing materials are great.
Junk is junk, you sell that otherwise juse sell everything and have fun with long ass battles xD
Herbs that boost stats I horde until i'm ready to use
Yep, if it's Junk, it's Junk.
It's got no value besides being sold :P
By the way, all of the items in that category (enhancement, food and junk) stack to 99 instead of 15, so you can definitely wait until you have a lot before selling, unless you are in need of money and/or want to rush shop levels.
FYI you only intense early in the game but chaos gets unlocked near the end.
In this game, you will have to hunt a specific side boss for Intense (the snake lady in the lake zone where there are fairy, snakes and furrets as enemies).
Chaos requires you to beat the story.
Can you start Chaos as it's a fresh playthrough or are you forced to carry over certain things?
